Milson Playcentre

We are a playcentre which means we are parent led. We currently have 23 children and 17 families enrolled across two sessions. We are applying to carpet the sleep room, office and half of the classroom space. Currently we have lino/vinyl flooring throughout which was installed when the building was built in 2011. The lino is covered in places by rugs which are old, stained and threadbare. We want to replace the flooring to ensure we can provide quality play-based education for our tamariki and wellbeing support for our families so that the whole whānau can play, learn and grow together leading to stronger, resilient communities.

We wanted to choose a community group for RhinoKids which Milson Playcentre is. The vinyl area was very hard on the small babies crawling so we wanted to provide nice, squishy carpet to protect future flooring installers knees.
