The Point Early Learning Centre Project
We are a mixed aged centre from 3 months to 6 years old. The area we are wanting to have new flooring for is our under 2’s space. We want to create a space that supports our infants to feel comfortable, confident and secure to roll, crawl, lie and creep.
The current flooring is hard wood floors – original flooring from when the building was a church many years ago. New flooring would give our babies a home away from home feeling. It would give it warmth in winter and look warm and cosy.

A massive shout out to our very own Oliver and Paigey who supervised some amazing carpet laying by Carpet Court Gisborne across the road to keep our youngest pepi warm this winter!

It was a pleasure to do a project so close to home with The Point Early Learning Centre being located right across the road from Carpet Court Gisborne. We laid Rhino Portland carpet with Rhino Platinum Underlay for a soft, stain-resistant floor that is perfect for the under 2’s to play and learn on.
Cyclone Gabrielle devastated many parts of Gisborne around this time so it was nice to have the kids come back to a new, warm space.
