“Bizzy Bodz will advocate for our tamariki to value and know who they are and to excel by offering a learning journey within a nurturing environment. We will demonstrate inclusiveness, trust, respect, empathy, integrity and aroha as we will hold these values to be at the heart of our being. Being tamariki led and whanau centred allows the tamariki, whãnau and staff to learn from one another, by embedding Te Reo me õna Tikanga through all learning opportunities.
This fund would allow us to improve our space. We would be so appreciative as our over two space is very outdated and aged. Currently we have carpet in our main room which was not layed properly and does have noticeable imperfections. It would have been layed a few years ago now as it feels very thin/aged. We would love to have a better quality learning environment for our children with quality flooring so that when they are on the floor it actually feels nice. It would feel a lot softer and ultimately provide a nice experience for children. It would also make the whole area look more aesthetically pleasing and would therefore better engage our children in their play when it looks inviting.”

“We recently had the pleasure of completing work at our local Bizzy Bodz Early Learning Centre under the RhinoKids Flooring Fund. The existing carpet in their main room was very old and worn with no underlay underneath. We were able to replace it with new carpet and underlay. It was a privilege to provide a warm and comfortable floor that the young kids can play and learn on for many years to come. Once the job was completed, we had a lovely surprise from Crystal and Fiona from the centre, who gave us a big carrot cake to thank us for the wonderful job! It was much appreciated and a pleasure to work with them both.’

“We applied for RhinoKids grant and were really blown away to have been lucky enough to be successful in our application for new carpet in our main room in our early learning centre. The RhinoKids Flooring Fund and Carpet Court Gisborne have made such an impact on the well-being of our learners and have made our space a much more warm, inviting and enjoyable place for learning to happen. Our children are now able to experience the warmth and comfort of nice new carpet and it certainly helps keep the warm in during these winter months. The quality of workmanship and product is incredible. Extremely easy to clean, easy to set up provocations for learning and makes our learning space look more aesthetically pleasing!
