Central Kids Elstree
Our community based not for profit kindergarten has been providing early childhood education to the local area for over 60 years. We cater for tamariki who are aged from 2-6 years. We are applying for some new carpet in one of our existing play spaces. It is a highly ustilised area and the carpet is old, worn and in desperate need of replacing.
The RhinoKids Flooring Fund would make the area a more inviting and comfortable area for children to play. It would brighten up a very tired yet loved kindergarten. It would give our tamariki a far more inviting space to play which is also one of our most frequented areas.

Elstree Kindergarten would like to thank Carpet Court Rotorua and the RhinoKids Flooring Fund for generously funding $2,300 for our new carpet. Our old carpet was dull, tired, extremely worn and it desperately needed replacing! The new carpet has brightened up our kindergarten immensely, and provided our tamariki with warm and cosy spaces to play.
Central Kids Elstree
It was a pleasure to replace the carpet and use Rhino underlay for the flooring at Elstree Central Kids Kindergarten. The carpet was over 25 years old and very tired and stained and being held by duct tape in some places without any feeling of softness. All the staff and whanau have commented on how it has brightened the area and is so much softer to sit on. We also managed to supply two Barcelona mats in the book area/family play which has produced a more comfortable space to sit and play in.
