Busy Bees Morrinsville

“Busy Bees is a small early childhood education centre in Morrinsville. We are licensed for 50 tamariki ranging in areas from 6 months to 6 years. Our carpet in our infant room is at least 15 years old with no underlay. We would like to give the babies and under 2 year olds nice flooring to play on, they spend a good amount of time inside of this room during the day. They get hurt falling over on the hard floor, we have rugs and soft fall mats to help.

New carpet would be nice and comfortable for sitting and lying on especially the very young tamariki learning to roll over and move. Recarpeting the pepi room will improve the daily lives of our tamariki who spend their days at our daycare.”

‘This heartfelt application for the RhinoKids Project came to us for a small childhood centre. The carpet was at least 15 years old and had no underlay. The area we were looking at doing was for the babies and under 2 year olds, for them to play on and help keep them warm as they spend a good amount of time in the room daily. They have transformed the indoor play area and now have a safe, warm and inviting carpeted area. Along with Carpet Court, we were happy to help with our young tamariki and help keep them warm and happy.”
