Kimbolton Early Learning Project

Kimbolton Early Learning is a small rural centre licensed for 20 tamariki every day and support and guide 28 tamariki across the week.

Our building is an old council house and our current flooring is 20+ year old lino and a few second hand rugs that were kindly donated.

We would love to have a fully insulated carpeted area for our tamariki to work on inside when they retreat from the cold of the out doors. A warmer quieter space for blocks, large group time, the library and family play areas. This would be a dream come true!

Many thanks to Carpet Court NZ and Carpet Court Feilding for the awesome carpet that now resides in our play room. Pluses we have noticed already in the room it’s quieter, warmer, no echoing, more useable floor space to work on, cleaner and still has that new carpet smell,  we are so blessed.

Thank you doesn’t seem enough to express what a difference you have made to our home away from home Kimbolton Early Learning Kaiako, tamariki, whanau and friends say THANK YOU.

Christine Williams, Kimbolton Early Learning Centre Manager

Kimbolton Early Learning was a well deserving recipient of the Rhinokids Flooring Fund for our region. The decision was easy when we saw how a rural community had pulled together over 3 years for the good of their tamariki with donations to help the centre. It was an honour to provide this amazing new flooring to their learning space. The impressive insulation benefits of the Rhino Platinum underlay combined with the rugged practicality of the Malmo Marseille carpet provides an exceptional improvement in comfort, warmth and visual appeal in the centre.
