Te Reanga Childcare Centre
Te Reanga is a centre whānau that works within a philosophy of whakawhānaungatanga, which encompasses our community to work together to achieve a common purpose. We are a community based not for profit organisation catering for children ages from 3 months – 5 years old. We pride ourselves on being a small family orientated centre, enabling us to focus on the individual needs of the children and their family’s aspirations. We honour respectful relationships to ensure growth through purposeful connections, aroha, and genuine affection.
Our current flooring in our over 2’s play area, under 2’s quiet room, and sleep area is stained and damaged. The carpet is a commercial type of carpet that is well worn, stained and hard underfoot. We have very limited funds to upgrade or replace the worn carpet. We have no money left after having to replace a leaky roof. If we got new flooring, it would be much more comfortable and easy to clean.

Te Reanga had a run of bad luck with extra costs and expenses including needing to replace the roof. It meant so much for them to be able to replace the carpet for their tamariki.
