Thornton School

‘Thornton School is a small rural full primary school. We love the outdoors, arts, performing and spending time in our library. We’ve made some great improvements to the outdoors of our school in the past few years with upgrades to our swimming pool and installing a bike track for our students to get them bike safe. Because of these upgrades we haven’t had the funds to improve the interior spaces of our classrooms.

Having new flooring would encourage the children to sit on the floor with a book and enjoy the space they will have. It would improve noise control and warmth and would make our library space a place for our students to relax and enjoy.’

– Kirsten Mews, Thornton School Administrator

‘We were delighted to provide and install carpet tiles into the library at Thornton School under the RhinoKids flooring fund project. Our experience with the school, and in particular Kirsten, was fantastic. They were well organised and communicative which helped towards what was a seamless project. We’re proud to have contributed to creating a comfortable and vibrant learning environment for the kids.’
