An update from us on COVID-19

At Carpet Court we are taking our role in containing the spread of COVID-19 seriously and are operating safe business practices to ensure this.

We have the following options available to help you find your perfect flooring solution; in-store, in-home or virtual consultations.

To help keep our customers and our team members safe we have implemented the following guidelines:

  • If you are experiencing any flu-like symptoms please do not visit us in-store or request we come to your home, we can help you with any queries over the phone, provide you with virtual consultations or alternatively you can browse our flooring range on our website. We will be happy to meet with you once you are better
  • For your safety we have contact tracing in place. When we come to your home we will require you and anyone accompanying you to provide names for contact tracing. If you visit our stores without an appointment and wish to provide us with your details please approach a team member
  • Please maintain 2 metre physical distancing at all times where possible
  • As at all other levels we are maintaining routine cleaning and high standards of hygiene and asking all employees to stay at home if they are feeling unwell

The New Zealand Government has recently announced a move to COVID-19 Alert Level 3 on Tuesday 28 April which means we are pleased to confirm that Carpet Court will be resuming some of our operations.

We have developed a Level 3 safe working procedure for installation services in accordance with the COVID-19 guidance and the Construction Health & Safety NZ COVID-19 protocols.

While all our retail stores will be closed to the public, our sales consultants are available to provide virtual consultations and can deliver samples to your home during Level 3.

There are a number of health and safety procedures that we have set up during this time to maintain the safety of you, our valued customer and our team including health and risk assessments of staff and customers, hygiene measures, practicing safe distancing, appropriate PPE and recorded contact tracing.

Dear Valued Customer

Following the announcement by the New Zealand Government regarding the move to COVID-19 Alert Level 3 and then subsequently to Alert Level 4, Carpet Court has made some immediate changes.

From today we will be closing all our retail stores nationwide and they will remain closed until the New Zealand Government advises we can resume operations. Over the coming weeks we will continue to monitor the situation closely and act quickly on New Zealand Government or health authority advice.

All customer deposits and orders will be honoured as soon as we are able to resume normal business.  We will be in touch with you as soon as we are able to reschedule your installation.  In the meantime you can contact us at marketing@carpetcourt.nz.

If you have an appointment or consultation booked with us we will be in contact to reschedule as soon as our team are back at work. We appreciate your patience and your support as we all work through this together to ensure everyone who shops with us and works with us is safe, as well as do our bit to prevent the spread of Coronavirus COVID-19.

FAQ’s

Q. Can I cancel my order and get a refund?

A. We will resume with delivering your order as soon as we are able to resume normal business. As our product is ordered and specifically made for your personal requirements, we are unable to offer full refunds.  Please contact us with your order number and we will do our best to respond to your query.

 

Q. Is my deposit safe?

A. Please rest assured that we will honour all deposits.

 

Q. I had an installation or appointment booked in the shut-down period, will you still complete this?

A. Unfortunately we will need to reschedule this due to the restrictions around Alert Level 3 / 4. One of our team will be in touch as soon as they are able.

 

Q. Can I pick up my product from you?

A. Due to the restrictions around Alert Level 3 / 4 we won’t be able to allow this. We will contact customers if anything changes.

 

Q. Can I still request a measure and quote?

A. Yes! We welcome you to do this through our website, however we won’t be able to action this request until we resume normal business.

 

Q. I need to get hold of someone who should I contact?

A. Please email your query to marketing@carpetcourt.nz and we will respond as soon as we can.

 

Q. I have a quote from you – will you honour the price?

A. Yes. If you want to accept a current quote please contact us and we will call you back to work this through with you.

At Carpet Court our priority is delivering outstanding customer service within all the communities we operate in. We seek to provide a safe environment for our customers and our team members and are taking our role in containing the spread of COVID-19 seriously. We would like to assure you of the following:

  • Carpet Court have introduced additional measures to ensure our staff and showrooms are hygienic including additional cleaning
  • We are making sure before we visit customers’ homes that they are safe to enter and are not self-isolating
  • Our products are safe and hygienic as per guidelines issued by the World Health Organisation (WHO) regarding handling of cargo or product from affected countries. For full WHO information on this topic please refer here

We are always keen to welcome you to our showrooms but if you would prefer we can come to see you at home, unless you have been asked to self-isolate or are unwell in which case please don’t visit the store or invite us in.  In this case we are happy to organise a time for after you have finished your isolation period or when you are better. All of our products are available to browse online.

Over the coming weeks we will continue to monitor the situation closely and act quickly on Government or health authority advice.
